1. Application, Event

    This document is an agreement for your right to attend the following Event (“Event”):

    • Name of Event: 28th IUCN SSC CROCODILE SPECIALIST GROUP (CSG) CONGRESS (this term includes any modification or postponement of the event).
    • Event Content: as detailed on the home page of the website.
    • Proposed Place and Venue(s): Crocoparc Agadir (the term “Venue” includes the primary venue as well as any additional venues for social events or other activities).
    • Proposed Date(s):
      1. May 13 to 16, 2026 for the plenary conference
      2. May 12, 2026 for the Steering Committee meeting
      3. May 11, 2026 for the Veterinary workshop (free choice of participants and subject to specific payment)
      4. May 17 to 19, 2026 for an excursion to southern Morocco or a half-day visit to the Souss Massa National Park (free choice of participants and subject to specific payment)


  2. Your Capacity

    You enter into this agreement in your own personal capacity and on behalf of any business, organization, or guest (each, a “Third Party”) for whom you register. References to “You” include such Third Parties.

    You warrant that you:

    • Have the express authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of the business, organization or Third Party;
    • Have provided a copy of this agreement to your employer and/or the relevant Third Party;
    • Have obtained the consent of the Third Party to provide his/her personal information to us.


  3. Compliance with Venue Terms, Conditions and Directions

    You must at all times comply with the terms and conditions of entry to any venue connected with this Event and follow any lawful directions given by its authorized personnel.



  4. Full Payment Required

    Full payment, in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) at the exchange rate of the day of registration, of registration fees, applicable duties, taxes, and all other amounts due in connection with your attendance must ideally be made by credit card when you register. If you are unable to pay by credit card, alternative arrangements can be made by emailing csg2026morocco@gmail.com. Entry to the Event will be denied if full payment is not made.


  1. Non-attendance

    If you do not or are unable to attend the Event for any reason, you will not be entitled to a refund of any monies paid in connection with your registration, and Crocoparc will not be liable for any losses incurred (including transportation or accommodation costs).


  2. Your Cancellation

    If you wish to cancel your registration:

    1. Before 5:00 pm (GMT+1) on March 11, 2026, you will receive a full refund of monies received, less a cancellation fee of 1,000 MAD;
    2. After the above date but before 5:00 pm (GMT+1) on April 11, 2026, you will receive a refund of one half of the monies received;
    3. After the above period, no refund will be granted.
    4. You must expressly state your wish to cancel by sending an email to csg2026morocco@gmail.com.

    All refunds will be processed within a reasonable time after the end of the Event. We are not responsible for delays beyond 60 days due to administrative issues.


  3. Cancellation or Postponement of the Event by the Host

    1. The Host reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Event at any time in its sole discretion and for any reason, including circumstances beyond its control.
    2. Expenses and arrangements for travel and accommodation are at your sole risk. It is recommended to make arrangements that allow for cancellation or variation with appropriate refunds, and to obtain insurance covering such costs.
    3. If the Event:
      1. is canceled:
        • Reasonable efforts will be made to notify you and post cancellation details on the website. It is your responsibility to check for notifications.
        • Subject to proof of purchase, you will receive a full refund of monies paid, and we shall not be liable for any additional losses.
      2. is postponed or moved to a different primary venue:
        • Reasonable efforts will be made to notify you (via a “Variation Notice”) and post the new details on the website. It is your responsibility to check for these notifications.
        • Upon receipt of a Variation Notice, you may either:
          • Notify us within 14 days that you cannot or do not wish to attend the varied Event (in which case, subject to proof of purchase, a refund will be issued); or
          • Confirm your attendance at the new date/venue, in which case your payment will be retained as registration for the varied Event.
    4. The rights and consequences of cancellation and variation are exclusively as set out in this agreement.


  1. Event Subject to Change

    While Crocoparc will make reasonable efforts to stage the Event as advertised, you agree that:

    • There may be changes to the venue or location of the Event or its components (except a change of primary venue, which is covered under clause 7(c)(ii));
    • The content, order, or session times of the program may change;
    • The speakers, entertainers, or other presenters may change;
    • The social program and venues for dinners or other events may change.

    Reasonable substitutes will be arranged subject to availability and necessity. Notice of any substantial changes will be posted on the website; it is your responsibility to check for such notifications.


  2. Upon Entry

    When entering the Event, you must:

    • Present a valid proof of identity;
    • Submit yourself and any bags or property to inspection if requested;
    • Not possess any unlawful items or substances not permitted under this agreement;
    • Wear and display any provided identifier (e.g., wrist-band or badge) at all times. In case of loss or removal, you must immediately notify us, or you may be denied entry.


  3. Your Conduct at the Event

    You must at all times:

    • Conduct yourself in a reasonable, respectful, considerate, and lawful manner;
    • Dress appropriately and decently;
    • Avoid acting or speaking in an offensive, obscene, or potentially disruptive manner;
    • Not transport, consume, or supply illicit products or materials;
    • Observe “no-smoking” signs and directions;
    • Not endanger the safety or health of any person at the Event;
    • Not cause injury, defame any person, or damage property;
    • Show respect to speakers and other participants and refrain from disrupting program content;
    • Comply promptly with directions given by us or authorized staff of Crocoparc, its contractor, or the venue.

  1. Ejection and Refusal of Entry

    We may, without liability, eject you from the Event or refuse entry to any part of the Event if you breach these terms and conditions, without any refund.


  2. Release of Liability

    You release us from liability for any losses, costs (including legal costs and disbursements), damage, or claims in connection with the Event, including but not limited to:

    • Personal injury, illness, or death;
    • Damage to, loss of, or destruction of property;
    • Damage to reputation;

    (This release does not apply if the loss is directly caused by our negligence.)


  3. Limitation and Exclusion of Liability

    To the extent permitted by law:

    • If you claim non-compliance with consumer guarantees applicable to goods or services supplied in connection with the Event, our liability is limited to:
      • For goods: replacement or repair costs;
      • For services: resupply or the cost thereof;
    • In all other cases, our liability is limited to the sum paid by you for registration. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses (including loss of profit, revenue, accommodation, travel costs, or opportunities).


  4. Independent Contractor Suppliers

    You acknowledge and agree that:

    • All goods and services provided in connection with the Event (including transport, accommodation, venue, food and beverage, audio-visual services, security, cleaning, program content, and entertainment) will be supplied by independent contractors (“Suppliers”);
    • The opinions expressed by event participants, speakers, exhibitors, or sponsors are their own and not necessarily ours;
    • No supplier, attendee, speaker, exhibitor, or sponsor is our employee, agent, or partner, and we are not liable for their actions.

  1. Indemnity

    You must indemnify and hold us harmless against all losses – including personal injury, property damage, and costs (including full legal costs and disbursements) – arising from any claim, demand, action or proceeding resulting wholly or partly from:

    • Your unlawful act or omission, negligence, breach of contract (including this agreement), or other breach of duty;
    • Any contractual term by which we may be held liable for your actions.

    You acknowledge that this indemnity is not our exclusive remedy.


  2. Liability to Third Parties

    You acknowledge that:

    • Your negligence or breach of this agreement or of the venue’s entry conditions may cause us to breach obligations to third parties (such as other attendees, exhibitors, or sponsors);
    • Any loss or liability incurred to any third party due to your act or omission may be recovered from you.

  1. Virtual (On-line) Participation

    If you register to participate in the Event virtually, you agree that:

    • You are responsible for having the appropriate technology and internet connectivity;
    • We are not liable for any interruption, delay, or quality issues due to technology or connectivity problems;
    • You are not entitled to a refund if your participation is affected by such issues;
    • You will comply with all rules and directions provided for virtual sessions;
    • Your personal information may be shared with other virtual participants;
    • You warrant that your home or work environment is safe.


  2. Photography and Videos/Filming

    You may use hand-held cameras and/or smartphones at the Event to take photographs and videos for personal, non-commercial use, provided that the act is not disruptive and does not infringe on intellectual property or privacy rights – and with consent from those recorded.

    We may employ service providers and invite media representatives to document the Event and may use social media to post photos and videos. You irrevocably authorize us to record (picture and voice), edit, publish, and incorporate such recordings into various media for promotional purposes without any compensation.


  3. Guests and Other Third Parties

    If you register a third party for the Event, you must ensure they comply with these terms. If you are a guest, acceptance of these terms is a condition of your attendance. Should you disagree, please notify us by email at csg2026morocco@gmail.com to have your name removed from the guest list.


  4. Privacy and Electronic Messages

    By registering, you consent to:

    • Our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal (including sensitive) information;
    • Receiving commercial electronic messages from us, our sponsors, and exhibitors.


  5. Assignment (Transfer) of Your Registration

    You may transfer your registration to another person (“Transferee”) by notifying us via email at csg2026morocco@gmail.com, provided the transferee agrees to be bound by these terms. No refund will be given for transfers.


  6. Governing Law

    These terms and conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Morocco (in particular, the Dahir forming the code of obligations and contracts), and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Moroccan courts in any dispute.
